NowDox is a community created to support the virtual care process
We believe that healthcare is a "people" centric process, enabled but not replaced by technology.  Virtual Care is
about people meeting with other people to learn, leverage and enhance different methods of "getting work done"
more easily and effectively.  We are committed to creating a new "movement" where professional people are
paid for their time collaborating with others...our leadership is actively working with sponsors and foundations to
help advance this approach for virtual care. NowDox is supported by sponsors and contributions and is NOT tied to
any one specific technology or service provider.
Apractis Solutions provides consultative services and has brought other sponsors and affiliates together in order
to make NowDox a reality. We support groups, clinics, organizations or individuals related to workflow efficiency
and support for tools and services that can help advance collaboration.  We also contribute time and resources to
NowDox as a reflection of our commitment to the Virtual Care Model.
Holy Cross Hospital, a member hospital of Trinity Health, is the first healthcare organization to recognize the value
of this global virtual care model and engage an official project to advance open collaboration for the community.
Consistent with its overall vision of care, the new division of virtual care services, led by the medical staff office,
actively supports the deployment of this model for the entire care continuum.
