| We work diligently to provide innovative neurological services to our patients, families, staff and colleagues. Much of the time expended for quality care, virtual consultations, family meetings and other services are not adequately supported by traditional insurance. And many patients do not have insurance coverage at all, or very nominal support for time spent on their behalf. Our mission is to provide whatever time is needed to get the job done. Dr Barbash, in particular, does not "bill" insurance companies for such consultative and support services, so your donations help us extend those services on behalf of ALL patients, families and the broader care community. The ability to have clinicians with different types of neurological expertise connect in real time via video consultations with the Emergency Room, with the Neuro-intensive care unit, and other locations..including extended care facilities and even the home.....is all dependent on developing other sources of support. We are committed to doing all this, but need your help make it a reality for everyone!
